Display tips

Wonderful reflections are cast when light shines through the objects.

Glass being transparent, light is both reflected and refracted, creating dramatic and extraordinary golden and glowing effects in certain designs, which trap sunlight and cast exquisite faceted reflections over light backgrounds, like jewels.

Backlighting is ideal, on a window sill perhaps. Light backgrounds allow for total appreciation of colour. Using mirrors in display adds yet another exciting dimension.

Any constantly changing light allows for surprising revelations.

Handling this tactile material is very satisfying too.

When you find the right position for your glass it will give you great pleasure.

Panels can be installed in recesses in walls, framed to hang or freestanding on bases. As the edges are often an integral part in some designs I prefer to display them on perspex stability stands which I can provide for you.

The images below show just how different the same piece of glass can look in different lighting conditions.
